Why are so many people suffering?

I just read a discussion on WebMD of more than 40 people who've had spinal fusion surgeries and complained bitterly about how awful their lives are now. They thought their pain would be gone after the operations but they are MUCH WORSE. My chiro buddies and I are all too familiar with the success rates and more importantly failure rates of these surgeries which is why people weap with happiness when we're able to prevent their need for surgeries.

All these 40+ posts I read described the variety of most potent synthetic drugs these people are living on. They're not really living, it's some kind of sub-standard existance they have. You really should hear the stories to appreciate their despair.

Why are so many people suffering so terribly and not giving chiropractic a try? Its safety record is nearly spotless. Oh we've all heard the stories but very few are anything but concocted tales or urban legands. In 15 years I've never had an injury occur in my office, nor do I know a single other chiropractor who has…and believe me, I know a few chiros. This truth is borne out in our malpractice rates which are so low because we are almost never accused of injuring anyone. How can the primary doctors or surgeons live with themselves when they don't suggest chiropractic care to these people? Is their motivation to actually help people? I don't think leaving them in agonozing pain and drugged out qualifies as help. Perhaps the saddest part of this story is what has yet to be told or even experienced. The chronic pain, loss of normal life activities, constant dosing with drugs all cause the poor sufferers to progress in the negative direction along life's continuum. That leads to anything but a happy ending.

I LIKE HAPPY ENDINGS. I like finding out how I can help people improve their quality of life and overall health. I want to reach every one of those bloggers and show them how they might benefit from the safe and natural approach chiropractic has to offer them. If you know someone in that predicament, will you please have them contact my office? Let's do what we can to help those we know. Why would we let people suffer unnecessarily when there is a possible approach that could change their life?

Yours in health,
